Hello everybody - posting this on behalf of my housemate, as I'll sadly be leaving PP in a couple of weeks.. I will be fielding any calls this week, as she's out of town, but next week she'll be dealing with it.. To add my own two-cents worth to the following description, its a great apartment, in a central and very nice location (and stumbling distance from BB-world, perfect/a curse when returning from nights out, depending on your outlook). Great landlord. And, great price. All in all a good find. Cheers!
I just learned that I will have 1 room available for rent in my apartment in about 2 weeks time. If you are looking for accommodation yourself or if you know somebody who is, please let me/them know!
Here's the details:
• Large rooftop apartment, with communal living room with TV, small kitchen and huge covered rooftop terrace. Landlords are a Khmer family who live downstairs but are cool. Apartment is very clean, the maid lives in the house and cleans 2x a week. For now, the only remaining roommate will be me the house comes with two paranoid dogs who bark at strangers but love everybody who gives them attention.
• Room is ca. 12 m2 in size. Rooms are fully furnished and have private bathrooms with showers. Aircon is always working and free wireless internet most of the time.
• Location: St. 240…between St. 63 and Monivong. (Mostly) quiet and safe Khmer middle class neighbourhood with everything you need within easy walking distance - Sihanouk & Monivong Blvd., Lucky Supermarket, BKK areas, St. 278 & 240. ECCC bus leaves just round the corner!
• Rent: USD145 per room incl. maid, excl. electricity. No need to sign contract. There is no real minimum rental time, but generally they prefer people staying longer.
• And now the downside we only have cold water….
As I said, I'm fielding calls on behalf of my housemate this week, so, if you want to come take a look, drop me a line or an email - I'm home from work around half 6 most evenings, so anytime from there on in is fine by me.

Hi Charles,
I just arrived at Phnom Penh to work as a trainee for a German NGO until the End of September an I'm looking for a room. I'm free most of the weekend and would love to take a look at the room, if it's still available! I have a Cambodian mobile number, but I'm not sure if it works properly: 0978160815, but I have internet access at my hostel
Hope to hear from you
Alice
Hi
My name is Steinunn, a 29-year-old Icelandic female looking for a room to rent. I just moved to PP on Monday and am working very close to the apartment and would love to come and have a look if it's still available. I don't have a Cambodian phonenumber yet so it's best to contact me via email.
Hope to hear from you!
Thanks, Steinunn
