Water festival viewing

The Water front will be packed for the water festival, but any ideas if it is reasonable to go on Tuesday Lunchtime without being trampled . apprx which end?

Ill be viewing it from the bangkok end,still a bit close but better than being amongst the pickpockets on the moat tole.
Loy krathong in thailand is a delight by comparison.All those krathong things floating on the water and those lantern things floating in the sky.

Thanks, We did Loy krathong in thailand last year with family and YES a real delight. However this years visitors want the Water Festival in PP.
Maybe luncheon on a balcony would be ok?
