Ok, I know many of the lads out there but it seems that they are all very backlogged with jobs to take on my repairs.

repairs being said, it may turn into a bigger job if the leaks can be contained as there are 3 other river front apartments that are being considered for joining on to the existing apartments via a central stairwell.

I know what needs doing and it is quite and extensive job to get these leaks under control.

who knows of a good reliable builder who is concerned about his reputation. I want to meet him and get some quotes for this job in hand.

references a MUST

Striping out the top terrace approx 12 mtrs x 15 mtrs of terracotta floors x 2 layers (as the last idiot just added another layer straight on top of the existing one) getting back to the concrete preparing the concrete and laying a well gradiented floor that drains properly.

I will want to know what products he be using for sealing.

Thanks
Anthony

I've used Sophal from Bizy Beez on 012 755 913 before and it was really great, the price isn't cheap but if you pay peanuts you get monkeys!

I'll be back next week anthony and I'll give it a good coat of looking at if you like.
Leaks are notoriously difficult to repair and the chances of a khmer being able to screed a surface to provide falls to a drain would be nil i would say.
i have never seen a bathroom floor screeded here.
But there are certainly many good waterproofing agents available through sikkens and other european suplliers.
However the good news is the rain has nearly stopped so whoever fixes your roof wont have to come back for months!

HI Anthony

Just used a company called Cambobuild who did the work for me on the Canteen I am building at the SEZ, worked out at under $5 per m2 including prep and install call Narong on 012929333. He has a massive range to choose from and price are much lower than Sikkens. Could even suggest a way of doing the work with out ripping out everything.

Hope that helps
