Dearest Expat Community:

We have a beautiful red brindle male Bullmastiff (Rueger) who is a year and half old. Our family is in the US right now because of medical issues and cannot return until August.

About five days ago Rueger bit our night guard who he knows well AND another Khmer young man who is a friend of the family and has been since 2008.

Last night we got another call informing us that Rueger bit our cook Kunthea. Kunthea has been around our dogs for 2 years and has watched Reuger grow from a pup. Kunthea tried to downplay her injuries, but we cannot. We must find someone who can and wants to take charge of our Rueger, or sadly, we must put him down.

Rueger has been neutered, so that is no longer a solution. He is up to date on his shots and uses a heartworm preventative. Agrovet has all of his records. He is free to whomever is willing to take him. NO families with children PLEASE! Single men or couples preferred JUST IN CASE.

He is a wonderful guard dog.
