The news came to us early Thursday morning, the way news often does here on the bay — as scuttlebutt. But the news didn’t persist as rumor for long, and soon we knew the horrible truth: A tourist boat moored off Titov Island had sunk, drowning 12 passengers.
It’ll be some time before we know how this could have happened. News reports suggest the boat was listing in the evening, and that a plank ripped loose at five o’clock in the morning, flooding the hold and sinking the boat.

The brightest people in Cambodia to answer the question are, at least the TED organizers selection:
After a month of relaxing enjoyment in Berlin it was time to go home and face the music. Not so scary actually. A nice girl waiting for me, fast money, and all my family and friends. I was actually getting excited to be back. What was I thinking?
Barcamp Burma 2010 - Friday, 22 to Monday 25 January 2010
What is a Barcamp?
Barcamp is a technology sharing event where anyone can participate freely and openly. It is a community activity based on collaboration and knowledge sharing, which has become a trend in Web 2.0 era, that is striving to reduce the knowledge gap between peers and between professionals and non-professionals. It is not an event where the rest of you have to listen to one person talking, but an event where you will be able to express yourself in topics concerning related fields, and therefore, will be able to meet and talk with many people. It is not like a seminar, where the direction goes from one to many, but will be going from many to many.
