Cord (www.cord.org.uk) are looking for a Country Representative to lead Cord’s dedicated team of professionals, as we develop our work in Laos. Having already worked in a similar role, and with relevant experience in peace-building, capacity development, international development and/or organisational development, you will have the confidence and creativity to design innovative programmes which respond to the changing situation in Laos. Your ability to develop relationships with new and existing donors and to secure funds for this work will also be key to the fulfillment of Cord’s strategy in Laos.

As Country Representative, you will have overall responsibility for the management and security of all Cord staff, projects and assets in Laos. An excellent communicator with a high level of diplomacy, you will have excellent, proven skills in People Management, Project Cycle Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Finance, Accounting & Administration Systems.

The requirements

To meet the challenge, you’ll need high-level leadership experience in a similarly complex organisation. Solid financial and people management skills are clearly essential along with programme development and implementation experience. You will have worked in SE Asia.
