I dont see why my post had been viewed more than 60 times and yet not a single reply. Has it got to do with my current location?? I'm a Singaporean Chinese currently working in the middle east. I'm an art director, joining a well established Advertising agency in Phnom Penh. Hopefully someone could provide me with some help soon.

I would say that they have shortchanged you if they think that USD 500 will cover all that. Maybe they are well established, but a little tight on housing allowances

for USD 500 you can find a great place, but electricity and internet are expensive here.

Electricity for a single person in an apartment will cost around USD 100 per month in hot season.

There are no regulations or pricing guidelines on accommodation. There are some great deals out there, just look around with someone like Art for a day or two.

Alright, forget about inclusive of everything. Seems like i just have to max out the budget allocate for my accommodation.

At least accommodations are like 4 times cheaper than in the middle east...

not saying you cant find the USD 500 bargain, just that all in would be pushing it. take your time.
