in my opinion, there are only crazy owners with little socialization.
It's up to you, to spend time with your dog to train and socialize them.
I am breeding Rottweilers and never had any problems, I am also careful to whom I sell them. Not one bad report so far...

Thank you for your advice, i already had dogs in Cambodia coming from smart owners, 1 bull terrier, killed by poison and one ridgeback typically khmer dog, coming from a barang family. The two of them were well socialized compare to the usual khmer dog. I was looking for another Bull terrier but even if i saw some in Cambodia, it seems to be difficult to find.
If i don't find the good one before february, i will contact you with pleasure.

Well we just lost our French bulldog to Distemper (the HIV of dogs!!).
We are of course devastated especially since we took ALL the steps to make sure that this outcome was impossible!, jabs for Pavo, Distemper, pet passport regular vet check ups but she still died at 10 weeks old (we were lied about her age by the breeder!).......bastard
If anyone knows where i can find a good breeder of 'bully' types dogs i.e Staffs (British not the American) French Bulldogs,Boxers or Bostons could you please please drop us a line.

Myself and fiancee are both from the U.K working in Phnom Penh as teachers so between us we have the perfect work shifts to care for a new puppy and hearts need to be mended ASAP.
Our dogs have always lived until they were teenagers and it is months before you could even stomach the though of a new dog but we only had our puppy on Xmas day and she died on the 2nd of Jan so we really need to find a loving caring breeder here in Cambodia.
I have alway except on 2 occasions managed to get my dogs from rescue centres but finding a 'bully' over here is impossible.

Hi JM mate.

We actually bought of French bulldog in Thailand who died from Distemper so i need to certify EVERYTHING about the dogs welfare 'vet the vet' if you know what i mean.

Distemper is HUGE in Cambodia and Thailand right now so getting newly borns to a good vet is really important and you need good proof of this if your a potential buyer.

I would also advise EVERYONE who is the slightest bit iffy about there dogs jabs record to go to a vets ASAP to get them sorted.

I would advise that you call ahead and ear mark all clinics that have Distemper cases in recently and give it a wide berth if possible.
