Please be wary of volunteers offers - there are many legitimate organisations - We are not saying the one above is not legit, it just looks like it was set up over the weekend after a few beers.

Which organisations that are correctly set up and registered with the appropriate authorities uses a free weebly website?

As their Facebook page says" Exciting volunteer opportunities on the way soon"

Many thanks for your comments, Admin. Perhaps I could answer your points?

Volunteer Cambodia is an entirely legitimate organisation that was set up in order to facilitate responsible volunteering - no beers were involved, I can assure you. I apologise if our website appears a little amateurish, but we do not have the resources to spend on creating a fancy website. Our aim is simply to try and provide assistance to small charities and not for profit organisations, many of whom rely heavily on volunteers.

Maybe you can clarify what it is that our potential candidates need to be wary of? As our website states, no money changes hands. It is a shame that an entirely altruistic enterprise has been met with such scepticism.

We do indeed use a free website hosting service. What type of correctly set up organisations use this type of website? Ones that are not set up with a view to making any money and who have no funding whatsoever, I guess. Organisations that are simply trying to offer a bit of help where it's needed, and are doing so on a shoestring.

Who do you suppose we need to register with? We are not a commercial enterprise, we are not an NGO and we do not take any money from either volunteers or organisations. Seriously, any input is welcome on this front.

Exciting volunteer opportunities were indeed on their way, as our FB page correctly stated. We currently have teaching opportunities and legal placements in not for profit human rights organisations available. We will also be looking for medical professionals in the near future. Please let me know if you would like to offer your skills.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me. I hope that your previous comments have not put off any potential volunteers as their valuable time and skills are needed.
