Hotel and surf school in Bali

Hi,
A friend and I are going to Bali from Dec. 26 to Jan. 8, we are looking for a hotel in Semineyak in the price range of 35 to 60 dollars. Also a good reasonable surf school.
Any info would be much appreciated.

Surf School is listed here - Have pinged "our man in Bali to get back to you with more and re hotels and maybe other surf schools.
Todd - Try Tune Hotels just opened in bali have heard good reports about from USD27 a night. http://www.tunehotels.com/
or Su's Cottage 2 around 25.Not alot around your price range more this lower end still very reasonably places or higher end stuff 70 to 100 and above.
Surf Schools try Double D's at the end of Jalan 66, ask for Dayduk a friend of mine or go to www.ripcurlschoolofsurf.com for a higher priced surf school yet the best cirricuum around.
Or there is some good private instructors around also.
Bring your raincoat all though this wet season is a dry one so far..
