Kingdom Breweries is converting a former Nestlé beverages plant located on Phnom Penh’s North-end riverfront 1200 meters North of the Japanese bridge, into a showcase microbrewery. The building was designed by Uk Sameth of the School of Vann Molyvann in the late sixties. It was designed in the "New Khmer Architecture" style, functional but with clear Khmer elements. Visitors will be invited to tour Kingdom’s state-of-the-art European production facility to learn how beer is brewed and bottled, before sampling Kingdom’s products in an upstairs Tasting Room overlooking the panoramic river view. It is the intention to make an interesting range of top quality beers, the best of the Kingdom! Everyone is most welcome to drop by any time.
