Writers Journey tutor, Jan Cornall leads writing retreats and workshops in SE Asia for writers of all genres with sponsored positions for local nationals and reduced rates for expats.

Writers Journey year begins in March in Fiji, heads to the Australian desert in June, Bali in July, Luang Prabang in December and Cambodia in January. Along the way Jan offers workshops in Vietnam, Java, India, Hong Kong and is a regular at literary festivals in the Asia Pacific region.

An author of fifteen produced plays, musicals, a feature film, a novel and three CDs of songs, Jan has taught creative writing since 1998 at writer’s centres, community colleges, universities and writer’s festivals in Australia and Indonesia.

Jan also provides mentoring and coaching by phone or skype.Every year a number of WJ students go onto publish with major publishing houses including: Penguin, Virago, Murdoch, Allen & Unwin, Hachette Livre, Rockpool, Knopf, Johnathon Cape and more.
